Hosting and server logs

This website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser information in order to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and standard contractual clauses also apply.

Table reservations

When you reserve a table online, we process the date, time, number of guests, your name, email address and phone number. We use this data only to manage your reservation and to contact you about questions or changes (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is stored in a database at Cloudflare and automatically deleted 30 days after the reservation date.

Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed for that purpose.

Cookies, tracking and fonts

We do not use cookies or any analytics or tracking tools. The fonts on this site are loaded from our own server; no connection to Google is made.

Our website links to Google Maps and Instagram. You are only taken to these providers if you click a link, after which their own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Just email us at info@bistrooliv.de.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
